Happy New Year!!

The holidays are over and now it is time to get caught up on my blog posting. The month of December was a busy one here at the boutique. Thank you to all our faithful, wonderful customers!! All of our vendors are busily getting their Christmas down and Valentines up..the boutique is looking very PINK these days with new product arriving daily.

With over 65 vendors we are always changing and moving things around in the store. There is always something new and exciting with each visit. A recent big change that took place was that Cindy Cox, a long time vendor, retired and Mary Wells ( Simply Vintage) and Cheryl Densmore ( Exhibitors owner) expanded there space making more room for product lines such as Bethany Lowe and ESC just to name a few. Mary's husband, Scott, built a large Trellis to cover both spaces creating an outdoor patio feel. Be watching for more garden/cottage/shabby/fleamarket finds to fill up the space along with their vintage inspired jewelry.

Morgan and Miranda of Primm and Proper Shoppe moved into the boutique in December with all kinds of primitive grunge. These are two very creative girls with big talent. Along with their hand fashioned creations they have primitive vintage finds.

Trish of Scarlet Lass Adornments has absolutely beautiful women's accessories such as cashmere/silk scarf and driving gloves. Her jewelry is of the highest quality and also lovely sweater wraps that are a luxurious statement.

Another new vendor is Don. She makes super cute dog coats and accessories. She also has fun cat tents. You will find her with Simply Swank, another Pet vendor who has stylish accessories for your pooch! Both of these ladies will do custom orders for those hard to fit dogs and cats.

Next time you come in you have to go all the way to the back and see the concrete mushrooms and leafs made by Dawn Bauer. She has the natural look and my favorite, red with white polka dot mushrooms!!! SOOOO Cute. She shares a booth with Sandy who has houseplants and garden decor.

Deanna Weller is another vendor who came in December and delighted the customers with her vintage inspired home decor. She has all new retail from companies such as K&K, Midwest, and more. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what she has brought to the boutique!

Our own Queen Mum Mary!!

Last Saturday we had our special evening with "The Red Hat Ladies." The ladies had a great time finding all the unique red hat items our vendors had waiting for them in addition to all the sales being offered that night. The Trellis Cafe looked beautiful with all the red and purple decor and tasty treats. Everyone who attended received a tee shirt and many gift baskets were given out. Prizes were also given to the ladies with best outfit, best hat and the most bling!! It was hard to choose...everyone looked great!! It was a fun night for all!!

P.31 stands for the Proverb’s woman that makes and sells to the merchants. These hand embellished hats are made by Lisa and Sandi. They specialize in cross and crowns. Their big dream as their company grows is to employ single moms to help them embellish these beautiful, bling hats. They even have a few designs especially for our “red hat” friends. You will find the hats hanging from a black chain on the first aisle.

American Girl Tea Party

Did you know that here at the boutique we LOVE to do children's tea parties? Little girls love to dress up and be "all girly"! Below are some pictures from a tea party we did last Friday with a group of little girls and their American Girl Dolls. The girls and dolls were dressed up in their best dresses and drank tea that they sweetened with pink rock candy. They enjoyed soup served in teacups, PB&J and a variety of other finger sandwiches, a mix of scones and fresh fruits and of course sweet treats. Our cupcake girl, Shelly, made adorable kitty cat cupcakes that were a big hit with the girls.
